I would hate to be a child growing up in the world today,
where morals are so corrupt, and respect has gone away.
I would hate to be a child growing up in the world today,
where when going to school in the morning
I couldn't bow my head and pray.
I would hate to be a child growing up in the world today,
where when I came home from school I was all alone,
and would be for the rest of the day.
I would hate to be a child growing up in the world today,
where instead of playing with dolls and blocks,
I was having sex and foreplay.
I would hate to be a child growing up in the world today,
where I had to take a pill to calm my nerves before
starting school each day.
I would hate to be a child growing up in the world today,
where fathers are no longer fathers because mothers
have changed their ways.
I would hate to be a child growing up in the world today,
where you are afraid of playing in your very own yard for
fear of being taken away.
Oh God, what has happened to our families, and our country of today?
Could it be that we have allowed too many liberals to change our old
fashion ways?
Since Dr. Spock came on the scene, our lives haven't been the same.
Our children have rights to sue their parents; it's a different game.
People have their freedom and this indeed is great,
but too much freedom can destroy our world by stirring up much hate.
Free speech is good but can be abused,
when used in such a way that it destroys our family values,
and exploits women every day.
I think it is past time that our government take a stand,
by not allowing liberals to destroy us; by taking the upper hand.
We could still have our freedom, but not in such a way
where it allows our children to be doomed for destruction
each and every day.
What ever happened after Johnny Carson, where we now all make fun
of our president and elected officials, along with everyone?
How can we raise a child with respect for his fellow man when we live in
a world like ours? Can't you understand why they act as they do?
Our freedom is what has made our country the greatest land of all,
but now I'm afraid that our freedom is what's going to make our
country fall...
if we don't practice tough love, and once again demand respect.
