Wrap Your Arms 'Round Me, Lord

Wrap Your Arms 'Round Me, Lord

Bar

Wrap your arms 'round me Lord,
make me whole. I'm begging you to shine your
Godly light onto my darkened soul.

Lord, help me to believe in you,
for my faith is growing nigh.
Sow seeds of faith onto my soul;
help me not ask, why.

Lord, grant me strength for tomorrow
by giving me hope for today.
Help me take up my cross and follow you,
in your name I pray.

Lord, love me, hold me, wrap your arms
'round me, make me whole.
I'm begging you to shine your
Godly light onto my darkened soul.

Sometimes I feel so distraught and weary,
for lack of faith; I know not why.
'Tis then I turn to you for mercy,
hoping you'll one day hear my cry.

For a short while I may ponder,
but soon my restored faith in you kicks in.
For again I feel your Godly presence, and my soul,
although once darkened, becomes enlightened once again.

For you have wrapped your arms
'round me Lord, and made me whole.
I prayed and you answered, casting your
Godly light onto my unbelieving soul.
